Nelson Mandela

1918-was born in Qunu, near Umtata

1944 - Helped to find the ANC Youth League

1949- Programme of Action was adopted by the ANC 

1952 - Opened the first Black Law firm in South Africa.

1960 - Changed the whole political climate. 

1962-Got arrested  and sentenced to life imprisonment

1990-Was released from prison

1993-  Got awarded  Nobel Peace Prize

1994- Was elected as State President of South Africa  
           
1999- became President of South Africa 

 Gladys Elphick

1904-was born in Wright Court, Adelaide

1922- Marriage with Tom Adams

1937- Husband died

1940- Married again 

1940- Joined the Aborigines Advancement League of South Australia

1960- served on its activities committee

1964-73- was founding president of the Council of Aboriginal Women of South Australia

1967-Federal responsibility for Aborigines

1966-71-was a member of the South Australian Aboriginal Affairs Board

1971-  was appointed MBE 

1973-The women's council changed its name to the Aboriginal Council of South Australia
1977- Founder of the Aboriginal Medical Service.
1988-  she died

2003 - International Women's Day Committee (South Australia) presented the inaugural                  Gladys Elphick award.

In my opinion solar taxi is a good invention for the future generation. Almost every cars in the roads that use fuels emits gases such as carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxides which are harmful to the environment. This environment friendly taxi helps in the reduction of toxic gases present in the atmosphere by the use of solar energy as a power resource.

I am very excited in EFS class.I am very happy in this class. The one thing that holds me behind is my language. Now I'm happy that my EFS class provides me with help which improves my language and understanding. This class also helps me to build my English  which helps me get a good job in the future. I believe through EFS class my skills such as reading, writing,speaking and listening will be highly improve and this also helps to improve my grammar and sentence making.
